Family-owned and operated, Kennedy Galleries was established in Brampton by Ronald Lanni, a skilled and sought-after antique furniture restorer with a keen eye for uncommon pieces. Gradually Mr. Lanni offered his refinished and restored pieces for sale. When Mr. Lanni passed away, his sons Jeff and Michael took the helm and have since established a truly unique furniture store.
Originated in Brampton 50 years ago, the move to Etobicoke was decided upon once the demographics changed. The owners saw the opportunity to move to a larger, better equipped and more convenient location. Etobicoke represented a retailer’s dream market in pockets such as the renowned Kingsway, the “Rosedale” of west Toronto and the vibrant, explosively growing condo neighbourhood at Humber Bay along the lake.
Kennedy Galleries is renowned for its interestingly styled and quality-made pieces. Both traditional and transitional furniture abound in the huge retail space. In addition to an immense and well-organized selection of furnishings, Kennedy Galleries has a custom cabinet shop and custom-finishing on premises. I can remember as a child, constantly rearranging my bedroom – pushing the furniture around, playing with colour and texture, and being so proud of the results. I guess it was something I was born with. My name is Christina Corona, and I am a certified interior decorator who has been working with Kennedy Galleries for many years. I am passionate and inspired when creating beautiful, comfortable living spaces!
